INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION

Bright World Arts currently offers individual classes in the following instruments-­‐bansuri, western flute, vocals, keyboards, tabla and bass. Classes are offered live and via the internet. Current instructors include Samrat Kakkeri- tabla,  John Wubbenhorst-bansuri, vocals, western flute, keyboards and Steve Zerlin-bass.

FESTIVALS

Bright World Arts promotes and organizes festivals with music, dance, poetry, visual art and mutilple art forms such as Art showings with musical improvisation accompaniment.

IN-­‐SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

Bright World Arts feels that the Arts need to
reach everyone , especially those in schools and universities throughout the world, such as our “Project Fiji” musical events in elementary and college classes in Fiji.

ARTS FOR THE ELDERLY AND DISADVANTAGED

BWA feels that the elderly and disadvantaged are often some of the most left out sector of society when it comes to having access to quality arts. BWA offers programs that bring music and other arts to the elderly and disadvantaged in their facilities.

SPECIAL SEMINARS

BWA holds seminars live and over the internet on pertinent subjects like “Indian Music Concepts for the Western Musician”, “Sacred Sound, An Experiential Participation in Raga and Tala”, “Fusion or Confusion ?? Upholding Traditions While Exploring New Ways Playing Together.” and “Music and Peace, Strengthening Cooperation and Tolerance Through Music.”
